Bookkeeper
- Part time (4 days per week)
- Location: The City
- Salary: £45K FTE

The Main Duties:
Maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, and overseeing the financial health of the company. Preparing financial statements for review by the company's accountant.

Recording financial transactions

Maintaining ledgers

Handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling invoices and statements.

Managing bank transactions and reconciliations, preparing payment runs for authorisation

Payroll, PAYE and pension payments

Maintaining petty cash

Preparing information for auditors

Keeping an annual budget

Liaising with pension providers, payroll bureau, insurance providers as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Essential:
- Minimum of 8+ years Bookkeeping experience
- With some experience gained in Financial Services or banking, ideally in the City
- Happy to work in a small organisation
- Good Excel skills: to include VLOOK UP and pivot tables
- Knowledge of accounting software ideally Quickbooks
- Experienced in liaising with auditors
- Happy to be office-based
