Reconciliation Accountant
- Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (pro rata)

- Job Type: Part-time 3/4 days per week
We are currently looking for a meticulous Reconciliation Accountant to join our finance team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be comfortable with data entry tasks and possess the expertise to manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and deferred income. Proficiency as a super user of QuickBooks is essential for this role.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform comprehensive data entry with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage and record accruals, prepayments, and deferred income in line with accounting principles.
- Utilize QuickBooks to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial compliance and timely month-end close processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting with a strong focus on reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge and experience as a QuickBooks super user.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles related to accruals, prepayments, and deferred income.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
