Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team. This role involves working directly with children on-site at our educational facilities and off-site in various community settings. You will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning, emotional well-being, and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to students
- Develop and implement individualized support plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Support students in both classroom settings and community environments
- Monitor and report on students' progress and development
- Facilitate workshops and activities that promote personal growth and resilience
Requirements:
You MUST be a car driver to be accepted for this role and be willing to take out business insurance for this role - mileage is claimable
- Experience working with children in an educational or mentoring capacity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different environments
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
