Freight Forwarder
- Salary: £28k - £35k (DOE)
- Location: Belvedere, Kent
- Full time Type: Mon - Fri 09.00 - 17.00 (Can be flexible)
Join a leading shipping company, as a Freight Forwarder. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with experience in managing the end-to-end logistics process. You will be coordinating shipments, arranging transportation, and handling customs clearance, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth in a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Coordinate and manage international shipments by road, sea, and air.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation requirements.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding - Sea or Air (preferably both)
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- A proactive and results-driven attitude.
