HGV Shunter
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent position after 12 weeks
Location: Tilbury
Salary: £18.00 / £21.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 19.00pm - 04.00am
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Inspection of Vehicle and reporting any defects
- Checking the Load is Safe and Secure
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Shunting trailers ready for loading
- To report any accidents as soon as they happen
- To return all paperwork and report any issues to the transport Office.
Person Specification:
- Valid CPC / Tacho
- Must have at least 18 months driving experience
- Able to follow and maintain procedures.
- Used to manual handling
- Reliability and good work ethic.
- Health and Safety experience.
