Role: 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: up to £33,000 DOE
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior IT Engineer to join our clients growing team in an MSP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients via remote networking and site visits.
Previous MSP experience is highly desired!
Responsibilities:
- To provide 2nd/3rd line IT support to clients on site and remotely
- Take ownership of all incidents and problems
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Create and update knowledge base articles
- Mentor and train the 1st line team
- Assist / be involved in the planning and delivery of projects
- Communicate efficiently to ensure swift resolution to end user
Technical Skillset:
- Windows Operating System 7/8/10/11
- Office 365 and applications (Intune, SharePoint, PowerShell)
- Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
- Firewall configurations, installs
- Routing and switch installs
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- Active Directory / Group Policies
Desired:
- Antivirus / Malware solutions
- Fortinet Firewalls
- RMM, Autotask
- Mac Support
- ESET Technologies
