IN2Consult are partnering with a national media company who are looking for a part qualified management accountant to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity that can offer £45,000 pa for the right candidate & you will only have to be in the office twice a week. We will need a candidate that has the ability to stand on their own two feet & isn't afraid to challenge existing processes. Someone who has worked in the media industry will have an advantage in this role but technical experience is also a key contributing factor. Please see below the responsibilities & key skills -
Responsibilities
- Monthly balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
- Variance analysis of monthly actuals vs budget/forecast and preparing commentary for the management pack
- Produce monthly management accounts for the BUs responsible in a timely basis, including business partnering with budget
- Resolve month end review queries
- Review and understand contracts for both revenues and costs and budget/account accordingly
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for the BUs responsible
- Provide FD/FC and the BU with financial analysis as required
- Business partner with the International BU and be their key Finance point of contact for day to day queries
- Co-ordinate with Sales Ledger Manager to review debtor positions and ensure cashflows collected on a timely basis
- Audit preparation and oversee audit visit
- Other ad hoc duties within the department as required
Skills Required
- Part qualified accountant
- Excellent level of communication
- Comfortable dealing with stakeholders of all different levels
- Background in transactional finance would be beneficial
- Comfortable working remotely
- Media experience is beneficial
- International accounting experience would also be really good
