  • Hours: 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (with some out-of-hours duty)

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our collaborative operations team. This role is central to the efficient and successful execution of fuel supply operations, providing crucial support to the trading desk and coordinating all parties involved in the marine fuel supply chain.

Day to day of the role:

  • Coordinate communication within the fuel supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate information flow between suppliers, transporters, and the trading desk.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimise supply chain efficiency.
  • Schedule and coordinate the loading of cargo and fleet resources, considering logistical constraints and delivery timelines.
  • Align scheduling with market demands and supply availability in close cooperation with the trading desk.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of ongoing operations to the trading desk.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor the performance of vessels and road tankers.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of necessary paperwork for fuel supply operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all required formalities, documentation, and regulations.
  • Maintain organised records for auditing and future reference.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is advantageous.
  • Willingness to be on-call outside of standard working hours when necessary.
