Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new opportunity?

We are recruiting for a hybrid Credit Controller, working for a company based in Brighton where you will be based in the office 3 days a week and working from home for the remaining 2 days (after an initial training period). You will be offered flexible working of 35 hours a week with varied start and end times, plus up to £32,000 depending on your experience. Additionally you will be offered a generous benefits package too!

Duties will include:

  • Build and maintain relationships for efficient collection of debts
  • Set up client accounts including credit checks, sending Ts & Cs and setting credit limits
  • Discuss refunds with clients who have credit available
  • Update the system and ensure records are accurate and clear
  • Liaise with the Accounts Manager to update of any issues
  • Discuss and agree next steps with other members of the company regarding outstanding debtors and problems encountered

To be successful you must have proven experience in debt collection/credit control with the ability to confidently build relationships and communicate professionally while finding a positive outcome. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with difficult situations and debtors while being organised and persistent. Ideally you will have experience of using SUN systems although this is not essential.
