Account Manager
Kettering
£28,000 per annum + bonus
Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
Agenda Partnership are recruiting for an Account Manager for a client in Kettering. This role would be suitable for somebody with experience either withing client relations, customer services or a collections background.
Primary responsibility is to work with a portfolio of clients to account manage and be the link between the primary contact and advocate between the company and their leadership teams in across all aspects of credit including new product introduction and implementation of collections system.
The main objectives are to build strong value-added relationships with regional teams and the external sales force, promoting the use of the program, by introducing the features and benefits, training, and other efforts to the external sales teams.
In addition, the role of Account Manager is to direct and coordinate collections on bad
debt accounts and advising the management and external sales teams on credit sales issues, collection issues, and customer credit concerns.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Working directly with external sales team and field management teams to control delinquency
- Resolve customer issues to retain customers and achieve permanent corrective action
- Report and track net losses/delinquency
- Educate external sales teams on collect program
- Submission of accounts to management for write-off as necessary
- Determine and negotiate partial and extended payments
- Develop strong business relationships with regional sales management and the regional sales force
- Educate field sales personnel on program features and benefits
- Answer field and customer questions concerning the credit program and account status
I am looking for someone with:
- Client relations, Collections or Account Management experience
- A highly professional communicator both verbally and written
- Has excellent computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Outgoing, positive attitudes and strong interpersonal skills
