Hard Landscaper -
Permanent Role
Colchester, Essex
Our growing landscaping company in Colchester is seeking an experienced Hard landscaper to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of hard landscaping features such as;
- Fencing
- Metal or wooden edging
- Timber work
- Patio and terrace laying
- Decking
- Drainage
- Turfing
- Planting
The successful candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years proven experience of Hard landscaping
- Be proficient in the use of all plant and machinery associated with landscaping works
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have the capability of overseeing jobs.
- Be able to work within a team and, on your own initiative, have the ability to solve problems.
- Be able to interpret drawings and plans to scale
- Be able to accurately set up sites and levels
- Be able to assess the progress of a project in order to deliver it within the time frame and budget set
- Have superb attention to detail
- Have a full UK driving licence with your own transport to commute to/from work
Additional qualifications that would be an advantage (but not essential):
- Trailer towing licence or experience of towing a trailer
- CSCS card
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid certificate
