Position: Finance Manager

Join a dynamic construction and property development company as a Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Finance Director, overseeing the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and VAT returns, managing subcontractor accounts, and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with industry regulations.
  • CIS Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of the Construction Industry Scheme compliance.
  • VAT Returns: Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns to ensure full compliance.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor accounts, including processing all subcontractor invoices.
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Audit Assistance: Assist with external audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager within the construction or property development sectors.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CIS and VAT return processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Qualifications: Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
