We are currently partnering with an industry leading organisation, who are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time, hybrid position (two days WFH) with a salary band of £50,000-£60,000 and the start date is subject to notice.
The successful candidate will ensure all internal and external financial reporting requirements are achieved in line with standards.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing the quarterly VAT returns and calculating monthly VAT returns
- Calculating monthly interest accruals, including multiple effective interest rate loans
- Reviewing and monitoring intercompany balances
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, clearing reconciling items and challenging calculation of balances
- Calculating moth end accruals and provisions
- Completing the monthly management information pack, including consolidated cashflow reporting and monthly commentary
Experience required:
- Experience in Financial Accounting
- Experience handling financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cashflow
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Qualification is preferable
- Experience in IFRS and FRS 102 reporting is desirable
