A job opportunity has arisen for an office manager to join a firm of accountants in central Lincoln. The salary is negotiable, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising, directing, and monitoring the work of administrative staff, including stepping in to help when needed.
- Help establishing, implementing, and maintaining office procedures.
- Administering the organisation's HR and select finance functions by dealing with staff recruitment, training, induction, employment issues, keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and updating financial agreements.
- Processing invoices and managing office budgets.
- Managing databases and computer systems.
- Organising company events and conferences.
- Organise and manage office layout, inventory of office supplies, stationery, and IT equipment.
- Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
- Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date.
- Assisting senior management team when needed.
- Attending meetings with senior management.
- Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
- Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices.
- Manage social media for your organisation.
- Liaise with external suppliers and service providers and block junk calls.
- Manage contracts with suppliers.
- Site visits to other offices as required.
Requirements:
- Proficient use of a range of software
- Delegate work to staff and manage their workload and output.
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
- This is a Lincoln based role with the requirement to work in Retford one day per week ideally (may be possible to only work in Lincoln)
