Robertson Bell are excited to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer on a permanent basis for this well-established organisation. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, you will demonstrate your extensive AP experience by taking responsibility for a high volume of accounts payable invoices and contribute towards the implementation of efficiencies across the function.
The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Officer include:
- Taking full responsibility over a large portion of Accounts Payable invoices with varying suppliers.
- Answering queries relating to accounts payable invoices, PO numbers and errors from internal and external stakeholders.
- Working as a larger team to ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Ensuring that c.1500 invoices are processed on a monthly basis using a variety of systems.
This opportunity is being offered on a hybrid basis, requiring you to go into their office in Basingstoke just two days a week, making this a perfect opportunity for somebody looking for a great work-life balance. The successful Accounts Payable Officer will:
- Have experience working in a similar role where you have processed a high volume of accounts payable invoices.
- Be a quick learner, adapt easily and be proficient in I.T. systems.
- Have experience in solving queries and providing excellent customer service to a variety of suppliers.
- Be able to use their initiative, have a strong work ethic and ‘can-do mindset.
