Job Title: Production Operator (Temporary to Permanent)
Location: Hatfield
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Position Overview:
As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within our manufacturing facility. Your key responsibilities will include picking, packing, reeling, palletising, cutting, checking picking lists, printing labels, and using the company's ERP system to manage inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interest and understanding of electronic technology and products.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
- Basic understanding of testing cable and electronic assemblies.
- Aptitude for design and process improvement.
- Logical approach to problem solving and fault finding.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in picking, packing, warehouse operations, stock checking, and using a computer system for inventory management.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage workload and meet shipping deadlines.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists, stock lists, and identify parts and lot numbers.
