Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Quality Engineer for a highly-regulated manufacturer in Glossop.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, this role will ensure that the company's product and processes meet the required quality standards whilst developing corrective measures and implementing robust quality systems.
The business have grown from strength to strength and supply precision components predominantly to the aerospace industry holding both NADCAP & AS9100.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with NADCAP standards and internal quality requirements.
- Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with customers to address quality-related issues and ensure their requirements are met.
- Carry out FAIRs for customers.
- Carry out internal audits to NADCAP check lists and AS9100
I'm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:
- Experience in quality engineering, preferably in the chemical processing industry
- Experience with NADCAP/AS9100 accreditation and audits is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of problem solving tools
- Good communication skills
