Interim Financial Accountant – Lancashire (mix of home /office working) £200 to 300 per day (dependent on PAYE / Umbrella) – 3 months
We are seeking an Interim finance professional with strong financial accounting skills to support this growing complex Group, based in Lancashire, with their Year End Accounts and Statutory Audit. The role will be a key support to the Finance Manager in producing the Intercompany Accounting, VAT, and Balance Sheet reconciliations for the group accounting functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Group intercompany accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of Group VAT return
- Year-end accounts
- Liaise with the auditors
THE PERSON
- You can either be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or QBE/actively studying and possess exceptional financial accounting skills.
- You will have a strong working knowledge of balance sheet accounting and reconciliations
- You must have strong Excel skills
- A hands-on accountant with experience in producing Year-end accounts and liaising with the auditors. You will have a technical turn of mind, able to communicate complex matters in a concise and clear manner.
