We are currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team in South East London. As a OT, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our clients, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
Requirements (Health and Medicine):
- Child/Adult DBS on Update Service.
- UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply)
- 1 year experience as an OT (preferably in Mental Health setting)
- Specialized training for self-harm, challenging behaviour and eating disorders
- Valid license/Registration as an OT in UK
Responsibilities (Occupational Therapist):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' occupational performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on strengths, goals, and needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for self-harm behaviors and maladaptive patterns.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and care teams to establish meaningful goals.
- Provide education and support on stress management and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review progress and coordinate care plans.
