A local construction company is looking for a skilled individual to take charge of the Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of various construction projects. Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, support and training to the MD and all members of the team
- Produce documentation inclusive of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work
- Manage the development of safe working processes, policies and procedures
- Implement, embed, policies, procedures & training programs in accordance with HSWA 1974
- Liaise with external agencies and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position within construction
- Working knowledge of the ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 management systems
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification)
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations
- Passionate about Health & Safety
- Relevant driving licence
