Senior Accountant, Analysis

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging financial data to drive strategic Business decisions, by providing critical reports to Senior Management.

You will be an integral part of the Business planning, analysis and decision support team, who are at the forefront of the change in new markets and other areas of the Business.

Looking at competitor benchmarking and market share comparison, you will report back to the necessary stakeholders across the Business, to provide insightful analysis and recommendations, enabling growth in relevant territories and driving efficiencies in the cost base.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant commercial experience.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining financial models and analysing performance metrics and trends.
  • Evaluating the macro economic environment and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Producing and reporting market share and competitor comparisons analysis.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand Business requirements and provide financial insights.
  • Conducting various analysis and identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Creating and delivering reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Responding to other analysis requests from various departments to support decision making.
