IT Support Engineer
Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: Up to - £35,000 - Depending on Experience
Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for problem-solving and providing excellent customer service? My client is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent!
Key responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware and software issues.
- Support Hybrid cloud environment
- Virtualisation troubleshooting (VMWare / HyperV)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and networks.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups on all systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve system performance and implement new solutions.

- Previous experience in a similar role or in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work across various disciplines in a technology setting
- Willingness to go above and beyond, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in interacting with staff at all levels
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues
