Field Installation Engineer/Technician
£21.00 per hour (Umbrella, £570+ take home a week) + Vehicle + Tools + Fuel Card + Food Allowance
Mid August start, 12 month contract
Covering North London (Can be based Luton, St Albans, Hatfield, Harlow, Stevenage, Chelmsford)
Are you an experienced Installation Technician looking for an immediately available contract role? Are you looking for a field based role where a vehicle and fuel card is provided?
My client are a leading services provider to a range of supermarket stores nationwide. They require an individual to join the team to upgrade cash storage systems. This is a role working predominetnly within Manchester/Leeds region however there is some expectation to travel further afield.
You will be tasked with upgrading supermarket cash drawers within the back offices, replacing the old drawers and installing the new ones. It will involve basic mechanical install skills and full training will be given prior to starting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with good mechanical skills, previous shop fitting/joinery experience looking for a fully expensed field based role within a market leading company.
The Role:
- Install and maintain systems and equipment, test and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure fully functional once installed.
- Fully expensed field role with company van & tools provided
- 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday
- Contract due to start mid August till late 2025
The Candidate:
- Shop fitting/carpentry backgrounds considered
- Willing to work overnight, some expectation to travel out of home region and stay overnight.
- Previous experience of using hand tools, power tools to cut, shape and assemble (SDS drill, Jigsaws, Multitools, Reciprocating saws)
- Full UK, Clean Driving License
- CSCS card highly beneficial but not essential
