Our client, a prominent leader in their industry, is looking for a Group Accountant to strengthen their financial reporting and internal controls. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, including the CFO and Group Financial Controller, while driving improvements in a fast-paced environment.

?? Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities of the Group Accountant:
- Oversee and maintain the risk and controls matrix in collaboration with the wider Controls Team.
- Manage a subset of business processes within the risk and controls matrix.
- Lead quarterly risk discussions within relevant business process areas.
- Assist business leaders with the periodic completion and update of risk scoring.
- Stay informed about business transformation projects and their impact on financial reporting.
- Create end-to-end process maps for new processes using Microsoft Visio.
What We Seek:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting and controls testing.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and build strong internal networks.
