Junior Draughtsperson Full Time, Permanent, Newark Salary - Competitive
We are proud to be partnered with a long-standing Newark based client who are seeking a Junior Draughtsperson to join their team, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Team liaising with all departments.
THE ROLE
As a Junior Draughtsperson your role will include:
- Compile drawings for client specifications
- Resolve potential issues or problems on the shop floor
- Liaise with the design team to resolve production or development issues
- Working with the sales team to produce drawings for estimating
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times
- Resolve any customer issues or problems acting as customer liaison
- Managing and updating relevant databases
- Attend site meetings and training course when required
THE CANDIDATE
An ideal Junior Draughtsperson will possess the following attributes:
- Level 3 NVQ, BTEC or higher in Mechanical Engineer
- Competent in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D + Autodesk Inventor and knowledge of coding using Ilogic
- Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise work
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and to deadline
- Confident with liaising with clients, engineers, and staff
- Clean driving licence
