Job Overview:
Our client, a leading company in manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Wireman to join their team. This role involves the assembly and wiring of electrical panels, including switchgear assembly, based on technical drawings and schematics. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical panels and switchgear according to schematics and drawings
- Interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings for accurate assembly
- Inspect and test completed panels to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards
- Diagnose and repair any issues with electrical panels or switchgear
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Panel Wireman or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Panel Building experience is essential for this position.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for electrical panel assembly and wiring
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant electrical certifications or qualifications
- Previous experience with switchgear assembly
