Job Title: Customer Booking Agent

Location: Didsbury – role is remote post training!

Type: Permanent & Full Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00)

Salary: Basic Salary - £22,308 (reviewed yearly) + On Target Earnings – realistic £30,000!

Please note: this is not an outbound or cold-call sales role. You are speaking to customers who have made enquiries to learn more about the company's product offering.

Reed are proud to be working with our client, who are a leading provider of driving training solutions in the UK.

As a Customer Booking Agent, you will be the first point of contact for new customers, your job is to understand the customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate course for them, whilst maintaining an upsell approach to ensure we maximise growth potential.

You will also try and obtain customer reviews and other feedback from the customer, so we can understand the customer further and adapt our pitch. You will take on average 35-40 calls per day and roughly respond to 10-15 emails per day. There is also the possibility of overtime on weekends. You may also asked to chip in with some other areas of the business during quieter periods to help manage workload across the business.

Skills required

  • Basic computer skills required (Microsoft office package and e-mail)
  • Previous phone experience (2 years required)
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with some form of sales or customer service
  • Can work in a small office environment as part of a team
  • Handling calls in a professional manner
  • The ability to upsell and recognise opportunity to maximise growth potential
