Position Overview:
The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems across all company projects. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE and a strong background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE Policies
- Design and implement comprehensive HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE risks.
- Develop and deliver HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE training programs for employees at all levels.
- Lead investigations into HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE incidents and near misses.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Prepare and present detailed HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE performance reports to senior management.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA) are highly desirable.
- 5 years' experience in an HSEQ/SHEQ/QHSE role within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and drive a positive HSEQ culture within the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in HSEQ management software and tools.
