Vehicle Parts Assistant/Driver required in Swindon.

- Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm or 8:00am to 6:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Our client, a family-run commercial vehicle dealer group established across South Wales and South West England, requires a Parts Assistant/Driver to join their busy dealership in Swindon.
Reporting to the Parts Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Parts Assistant/Driver you be responsible for:
- Sourcing and supplying vehicle parts for customer and workshop vehicles.
- Identifying and meeting customers' requirements and making diagnoses and recommendations as appropriate.
- Delivering and collecting parts from customers and clients as required.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
- Receiving parts into stock.
- Data and document handling.
To be eligible for this Parts assistant / Driver role our client requires recent or current experience working with automotive vehicle parts. Experience in a similar role for a commercial dealership or within a motor factor would be very beneficial but is not essential. Overall, you will be IT literate given you will work daily with a dealer management system and an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills in a friendly and charismatic manner.
