eCommerce Manager - Freja

About

Freja

Freja is a high-growth, multi-channel food and wellness brand. We've grown the business to an 8 figure run rate and become the category leader since launching in 2020. We've achieved rapid growth across all sales channels, successfully raised an investment round, and won a few awards along the way (including Food & Drink Startup of the Year, and Best Visual Identity in Food & Drink Category).

We're a small team that punches above its weight. We like to work with people who are proactive, entrepreneurial and commercial, with first-class communication skills. The key to success in our business is to hit the ground running, take ownership of your role, manage upwards, and make great things happen.

About th

e eCommerce Manager

role

There's an exciting opening for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join the team, a key position in a rapidly growing brand. The role takes hands-on day to day ownership of the front-end, consumer-facing elements of our ecommerce business, in close collaboration with our broader Marketing and Growth teams (influencer, affiliate, performance marketing, content production).

The nitty gritty

This is an ecommerce generalist role! We're looking for someone with a broad understanding of ecommerce design, user experience, and conversion optimisation. Your natural home will be in multiple CMS platforms optimising user experience and the shopping journey and product listings as well as analysing data and reporting back on your findings. Reporting to the Head of Growth and working closely with the CEO, you'll be part of an experienced cross-functional team including another Ecommerce Manager with a backend, technical and operational focus.

What you'll take on

  • Manage all frontend elements of our ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon) ensuring that the core funnel, landing pages and emails are consistent with brand and offer a great user experience
  • Use analytics tools to analyse, test, and optimise every touchpoint
  • Content management: ensure that every piece of content, from product thumbnails to blog articles are well crafted and engaging
  • Owning the on-page strategy (keyword relevance, internal linking, technical SEO)
  • Ensuring that promos, up/cross-sells, products and bundles are well setup and well communicated
  • Design and visual communication - you will be using Canva or Figma to spin up basic website and email graphics as needed.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • A minimum of 3 years working in an eCommerce role
  • Very comfortable working with Shopify - Amazon is desirable but not essential
  • Research, organisation, and communication skills are essential
  • Data driven with an analytical mindset
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially minded
  • A willingness to grow with the company
  • A genuine interest in our brand and our product - if you don't love it you can't sell it

What you'll get in return

  • The opportunity to play a key role in a growing challenger brand.
  • Proper responsibility for a strategically important area.
  • Competitive salary (Up to £40k) + company performance bonus.
  • All employees will have EMI share options, giving them the opportunity to participate in our success
  • Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office)
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Allocated budget and time off for personal and professional training and development.
  • Plenty of bone broth!
