We are supporting a coeducational academy in the heart of the Chilterns. They have nearly 1100 student ranging from 11-18. The schools' values for both students and staff are learning, kindness and excellence; these permeate in everything they do but start with you.

They are seeking an expert Teacher of Art & Design, an individual who can build on the excellent work of the current postholder. As the Teacher of Art & Design, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team to inspire and motivate young people to discover and pursue their own passion for the subject. Art and Design Technology are central to their curriculum and the successful candidate will be joining a well-led and well-resourced curriculum area. You will need to be able to teach Art and Photography to GCSE and ideally both to A-level. We are looking for a teacher with excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting the value of Art. You will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables students to thrive and achieve their full potential, both academically and creatively. Our other activities include KS3 Art clubs and additional GCSE after school opportunities for students to develop subject specific skills and techniques both of which are well attended and play an important role in shaping the culture of the school.

Each teacher has their own designated classroom, complete with desktop PC and visualiser. Through their collaboration with Design Technology, there is also access to a shared computer suite and laser cutter along with dye sublimation resources. The curriculum area is also supported by three experienced technicians.
