Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Neuro
If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Band 6 or 7 Speech and Language Therapist with experience working within a neuro rehab settinf, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Team.
Salary: £350 per day
What you will be doing:
- SLTs will book and schedule their own follow ups.
- SLTs must book FU at time of appointment and reflect
- immediately in their own rota to avoid double bookings.
- All SLTs will need to complete Xyla Data capture form
- each shift and submit an online Service Delivery report
- at the end of each shift.
- Normal admin process for updating CLCH system of
- assessment, complete letter to GP, when discharged
- from the service complete the Discharge on the system.
All assessments are paper based.
Each Tuesday there is a MDT from 9 - 10 all staff to attend.
Each day staff to send team email to confirm workload of the day.
Each day staff to participant in group whatsapp for check ins.
What you'll need as a Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Neuro:
- Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
- Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
- HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
- 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
- Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
- The right to work in the UK
