Project Accountant | Architectural & Urban Design | £50,000-£60,000 | Central London | Hybrid (3 days in office)
This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join an international, multi-million turnover architectural and urban design practice, based in Central London, on a 12-Month contract (hybrid working). This role has come about due to the business migrating systems from C-MAP to the system used by their parent company, Oracle.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be sitting in the commercial team of 6 people. You will be integral in supporting the team transition onto the system and maintain business as usual during the transition.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with the ERP transition from CMap to Oracle Fusion (OCI)
- Liaising with Oracle and the commercial teams to understand the requirements needed on the system and ensuring successful migration of the data
- Assisting with training of the wider commercial and project team on OCI
- Managing day to day project control work including monitoring project budgets and profitability
- Management of revenue recognition and WIP for various projects
- Updating project income and providing project invoice data to the finance teams
- Collating and inputting information into the system
Skill set required:
The successful candidate will have experience working in the professional services industry, preferably from an architectural, engineering or construction business. You will have experience working as a Project Accountant or Project Administrator where you have supported with project budgets and monitoring project income. Knowledge of Oracle is strongly preferred (Oracle Fusion or OCI), or experience implementing a new system. You will have excellent communication and the ability to be agile, in this project based role.
