Join our team as Specialised Learning Content Manager
This is a new team which has been formed to support students and members with their specialised and lifelong learning. The team is responsible for identifying gaps in ICAEW's offering and working with colleagues across the organisation, developing engaging and varied resources to help students and members plug these gaps. Supporting members with their CPD requirements is a high priority for ICAEW so it is an exciting time to join this team.
Overall purpose of the role of Specialised Learning Content Manager
This role has been created to support the development and delivery of ICAEW's suite of specialised learning for the ACA qualification. This individual will work closely with the Director, Specialised and Lifelong learning and internal subject matter experts to identify e-learning course content. They will liaise with the selected course developer(s) and will oversee the development of the courses. Finally, they will also be responsible for ensuring courses are embedded on ICAEW's Learning Management System.
This individual will also support the Director, Specialised and Lifelong Learning in developing the ongoing mechanism for specialised course development.
Specialised Learning Content Manager Responsibilities include:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the development of ICAEW's initial specialised e-learning courses for the ACA qualification.
- Liaise with the selected course developer(s) and internal subject matter experts to refine the learning outcomes for each course.
- Manage the development process with ICAEW's selected course developer(s) to ensure courses are developed in accordance with the brief, on time, and to budget.
- Support the Director, Specialised and Lifelong Learning to develop an ongoing course development mechanism. This will involve identifying where there is a need for additional courses and then developing the mechanism to develop the courses in an agile way, whilst ensuring quality is maintained.
- Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
Specialised Learning Content Manager Candidate Profile
- This individual does not need to be a qualified chartered accountant; however, this could be beneficial.
- Experience with e-learning courses and LMS systems would be beneficial.
- Experienced in overseeing initiatives / projects on time and to budget.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
- Strong communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders (both internal and external).
