Tate recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a well established Pharmaceuticals company who are dedicated to re-imagining medicine and improve people's lives. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their business for a 9 month contract.

Senior Legal Counsel - London, UK

  • Hybrid working- Monday to Friday
  • Location- West London
  • Salary - £950 daily (based on experience)
  • Contract Length: 9 months (Maternity cover)

Job Purpose:

Working where data and digital meet medicines to serve patients, co-creating solutions that deepen our bold partnerships with Heath-care Operations to benefit patients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Actively participating in Neuroscience / Immunology area leadership team discussions and decision making.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and other commercial arrangements in respect of company products with customers across the UK
  • Negotiating and settling joint working agreements and collaborative working agreements between our company and Health care Services
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Medical and Ethics, Risk and Compliance teams, to guide the UK business teams
  • Leading on disputes, litigation and/or investigations, including managing the work of outside counsel and other legal experts.
  • Working with the wider legal team to develop, train and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Providing legal support and project management.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Prior experience of working in-house within pharmaceutical industry or similar experience of advising on commercial pharmaceutical legal issues.
  • A passion for the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of ABPI Code requirements.
  • Capacity to quickly analyse complex legal issuess
  • Ability to operate effectively under time and business pressures
  • Sound experience in handling a high volume of activity involving managing multiple and technically complex, projects

Desirable requirements:

  • Qualified to practice in the UK and a minimum of 5+ years work experience
