Title: Fee Earner – Wills, Trusts & Probate
Location: Wirral
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
A distinguished legal practice located in the Wirral is seeking a Private Client Fee Earner for their Wills, Trusts & Probate department. This role involves managing a full caseload covering all aspects of probate, will drafting, tax planning, and estate administration, including Powers of Attorney. Additionally, the role encompasses advising on and managing trusts, including lifetime, will trusts, and elderly client trusts. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct and manage all aspects of their caseload with a high level of autonomy and sound judgements, adhering to the firm's standard supervision system.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in wills, trusts, and probate work, demonstrating excellent knowledge of relevant law and statutory duties. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good numerical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook are essential. Experience in meeting deadlines with minimal supervision and direct client contact is crucial. The candidate should be admitted as a solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent, with STEP qualification being desirable. Key personal qualities include reliability, discretion, and empathy with clients.
