As a Demand Planner, your role will be pivotal in managing supply and demand within an established industrial/manufacturing firm. You will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, ensuring a smooth supply chain, and ultimately enhancing our business operations.

Description

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure supply chain efficiency by coordinating with warehousing and logistics teams.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Maintain the demand planning software and system.
  • Participate in inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar demand planning role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management practices and operational processes.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
