Microbiology technician
I am currently recruiting for a microbiology technician role for food microbiology laboratory based in Belfast
This is a contract role with high potential for extension
Responsibilities:
Microbial analysis of food products using microbial techniques
To accurately and efficiently register samples for analysis and co-ordinate samples to the relevant labs.
Microbial identification
Laboratory maintenance
Prepare agar media and pouring agar media
culturing microorganisms, streaking and plating
Entry of laboratory results into the database.
