Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Corporate Tax department, providing expert guidance and advisory services for corporate clients across various sectors.
  • Take charge of the firm's tax offerings in restructuring and M&A, establishing a strong reputation in these specialised areas.
  • Collaborate with clients on succession planning, delivering tailored tax solutions to address their future needs.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Corporate Finance, Accounts & Business Advisory, and Tax Compliance to ensure comprehensive and seamless client support.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of restructuring arrangements, including management buyouts (MBOs), trade sales, and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).
  • Mentor and lead a skilled team of tax professionals, promoting growth and high standards within the department.

Requirements

  • ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent, with significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and a proven ability to lead in a technical advisory capacity.
  • Prior experience in a UK Practice environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive new business initiatives.
