Day to day of the role:

Plan and deliver stimulating English lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering a love for literature and language.

Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning goals.

Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to a variety of learning styles and needs.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to the school's extracurricular programmes.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.

Experience in teaching English is preferred, but enthusiastic NQTs are also encouraged to apply.

Ability to inspire and motivate students through dynamic teaching methods.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
