Linux Driver Engineer

Long term Contract opportunity with a Cambridge based audio client that have been in touch with a high hourly rate pay, majority home working 12-month OUTSIDE IR35 Linux OS/Firmware/integration opportunity to support with board bring up that may be of interest to you.

The client are looking for support with the following;

  • Board bring up
  • Linux Driver Development (I2C/ TCP/ Network drivers)
  • Understanding of application level development/subsystem development
  • ARM SOC (ideally RockChip, 32 88 moving to 35 88)
  • Any experience with U-boot, Bootloader, Yocto or bootflow is nice to have but not a pre requisite.

The client are recognised as the market leaders in their field developing innovative music tech. No previous audio experience is required but if you have an interest in this area it is beneficial. The client are looking for 1/2 days per week on-site in the Cambridge office but this can be flexible throughout the project depending on phase of development (ie during integration phases). The position has been QDOS assessed as OUTSIDE IR35, is paying a high hourly rate and is offering a long term duration.
