Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers in the Cambridgeshire area
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
- Utilize GPS and follow route planning for efficient deliveries to their customers
- Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with the office
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with less than 6 points
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (23kgs max)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
