Process Validation Engineer

Seeking a Process Validation Engineer for Medical Devices Sector in County Tipperary

Our client, a well-known company operating within the medical devices sector, is currently seeking an experienced and qualified process validation engineer to join their team on contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment validation, process qualification as well as setup calibrations and characterisations.

This is an hourly rate contract for 6 months with strong potential to extend.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a manufacturing environment preferably Medical Devices
- Familiarity with 3D printing technology would be advantageous

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Equipment Validation:
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge about validating new manufacturing processes & equipment's by developing requirements based upon product specifications; writing test protocols; executing IQ/OQ/PQ testing plans; analysing results data from these tests.

Process Qualification:
Experience creating quality systems documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs) etc., related to the development/qualification/validation/maintenance of production/process control methods including statistical analysis tools like Minitab software

Setup Calibrations:
Creating calibration schedules/plans per industry standards using metrology instruments/gauges/calibration masters that are traceable back to NIST/NPL national laboratories.

Process Characterisation :
Developing DOE plans aimed at optimizing critical-to-quality attributes(CQA's); conducting design-of-experiments studies(DoE) ; performing root cause investigation(s)/analysis(es)

Catheter Experience :
Familiarity around various Catheter designs/capabilities/applications/use cases along-with its material characteristics.

Additional Information :
This role requires strong communication skills both written and verbal while also being able to manage time effectively whilst maintaining attention towards detail oriented tasks. Successful candidates must display excellent problem-solving abilities combined with creativity where necessary though you can expect this position comes accompanied by highly competitive hourly rate.
