Your new role
To assist the Financial Controller with managing the finances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage day-to-day banking activities.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including fees and trips.
- Manage the Fixed Asset Register and ensure its accuracy.
- Assist in producing monthly accounts for subsidiary companies, particularly those dealing with lettings.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of nominal accounts.
- Support the Financial Controller in preparing monthly management accounts and the year-end audit process.
- Aid in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide assistance to the Lettings Officer with lettings as required.
- Offer cover for team members in their absence.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Financial Controller or the senior leadership team.

Previous experience working as an Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant
