The Role: Accounts Senior - Thurrock - £30k - £40k per annum

As an Accounts Senior, you'll take the lead in managing financial reporting, maintaining accurate accounts, and supporting the Finance Director. Our client prides themselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, where your ideas will be valued, and your career can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Balance Sheet reconciliation, Fixed assets, HMRC, Payroll control, Creditors, Debtors, intercompany trading etc
- Journals various
- Month end processing
- Sales Invoices importing and reconcile
- Purchase Order number generation
- Purchase invoices input
- Purchase invoices import
- Daily Cash receipts posting and allocation
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales Ledger Statements, housekeeping
- Credit control
- Duty Sales input and Vat Intercompany reconciliations
- Bank Transfers intercompany, BACS and Priority payments HSBC
- Key Audit contact
- Add-hoc processes
- Must be proficient on Excel
- Overseeing staff duties and providing training.
Essential Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in Sage200 or Sage50
- Planning and Organisational Skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to use handheld devices and the use of other computerised equipment
- Full UK drivers licence
The Package
- Salary £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm 1 hour for lunch
- Free on-site parking
- 28 days annual leave
- Death in service x 4 salary
- Company Pension Scheme 4% company contribution
- Based in West Thurrock with occasional travel to Tilbury 80/20
