Assistant Accountant
- Contract Duration: 3-4 months
I am seeking a Assistant Accountant for a 3-4 month contract to support my client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Navision and will assist with ledgers, intercompany transactions, management accounts, and journal posting.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain and manage ledger entries and ensure their accuracy.
- Handle intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
- Post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth end-of-month and end-of-quarter activities.
- Provide support for any ad hoc financial reporting or analysis as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Navision.
- Experience with ledger management, intercompany transactions, and journal posting.
- Understanding of management account preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant finance or accounting qualifications are desirable.
