Compliance Manager

Job Purpose:

The Consumer Duty Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and adherence to Consumer Duty regulations within the Firm.

This role involves managing projects related to regulatory compliance, ensuring that consumer protection measures are effectively integrated into business operations, and maintaining ongoing compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirement

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management -

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project including helping to define scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives related to Consumer Duty.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements and ensure adequate resource is assigned to each project.

Regulatory Compliance -

  • Stay updated with the latest Consumer Duty regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.

Training and Development -

  • Develop and deliver training programs related to Consumer Duty.

Reporting and Documentation -

  • Prepare and present reports on compliance activities and project status.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services or regulatory compliance sector.
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Duty regulations and their implications.
