A1 Personnel are recruiting an Aircraft Component Technician on behalf of our client based in Rayleigh, Essex. We currently require a fulltime permanent technician within our technical workshop areas covering Flight Power & Electro-Mechanics and Galley Accessory.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve carrying out the Overhaul, Inspection, Repair and approved Modification of aircraft components. Some of the units repaired within the shops are as follows:
- Emergency Power Supplies
- Windshield Heat Controllers
- Flight Deck Windows/transparencies
- Linear Actuators
- Exterior Aircraft Lighting
- Faucets
- Ovens
- Water Boilers / Coffee Makers
- Generator Control Units
- Smoke Detectors
- AC Generators
- Ni-Cad Batteries
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential as we may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross train into the aviation industry.
- Experience in engineering.
- Have a recognized qualification in a related subject i.e., Engineering, Aviation, Electrical/Mechanical maintenance.
