Our client, a market leading household brand with a fantastic reputation for career progression and operating a fun and flexible working environment, is looking to source a bright and ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join its ranks. This is a true business partnering role that sits within a dynamic team with lots of ad hoc and exciting work and very little BAU reporting.
Main duties:
- Completing business cases and post implementation reviews to enable the business to make informal financial decisions
- Running and interpreting corporate management reporting to provide timely insight and analysis to stakeholders
- Identify risks and opportunities and flag to senior management
- Completing analysis for the business area as required to drive improvements
- Working with internal Data Team to complete analysis
- Working closely with stakeholders to develop uniformity of reporting and performance evaluation
- Supporting the business to manage project budgets
- Attending business review meetings
Key skills & experience required:
- Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- At least 18 months finance experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel and numerical skills, with an aptitude for turning data into analysis and insight and being able to clearly articulate this through your communication
- Strong commercial acumen
- Effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders
- Self-motivated team player, able to work autonomously, prioritise with good problem-solving abilities
- Must have a strong eye for detail and accuracy
