We have a vacancy for an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team in our Elland head office. The main responsibility of the role is to manage all aspects of the company's Sales Ledger, with a heavy focus on Credit Control. This is a diverse and challenging role for the right candidate, with a real opportunity for them to put their own mark on improving our management processes and reporting for the sales ledger.
Job profile:
- All aspects of Credit Control (including chasing aged debt and setting up new clients)
- Assisting with the management of monthly contract charges and invoices
- Building relationships with internal colleagues
- Proactively chasing and managing customer relationships to ensure issues are raised and resolved before payment is due
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assist with weekly cashflow forecasting
- Requirement to assist with other accounts tasks as the role develops.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a credit control role (+5yrs B2B)
- Can develop strong working relationships
- Good communication and organisation skills, plus the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload
- A strong customer focus and an appropriate level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable)
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

- Salary £28,000-£32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
